TWP CORONAVIRUS POLICY
We continue to monitor, consult, and adhere to all guidelines put forth by the Ontario Chief Medical Officer. We continue to work with our local public health authority, the Porcupine Health Unit, and the MRCA to ensure a safe and pleasant experience at the Timmins Wake Park.
You are kindly requested to follow all these rules diligently, to sustain a healthy and safe space in this unique environment. It’s important that we all respond responsibly and transparently to these health precautions. We assure you that we will always treat your private health and personal data with high confidentiality and sensitivity.
Our coronavirus (COVID-19) company policy is susceptible to changes with the introduction of additional governmental guidelines and easements of restrictions. If so, we will update this policy accordingly.
General public safety measures and hygiene:
A hand sanitizer station will be installed.
New occupancy caps will be in place (occupancy includes staff members): numbers shall not exceed a total group occupancy of more than (5) as set by Ontario Provincial guidelines.
All employees and clients are required to clean/sanitize your hands upon entering, before eating, and if you cough/sneeze into your hands
Cough/sneeze into your sleeve, preferably into your elbow. If you use a tissue, discard it properly and clean/sanitize your hands immediately.
Avoid touching your face, particularly eyes, nose, and mouth with your hands to prevent from getting infected.
All common areas and items will be sanitized between clients with commercial grade products.
Employees must wash and/or sanitize hands between clients.
We ask that all clients limit their friends or family travelling with them to their appointment. Only lesson participants will be permitted on the dock, with the exception of (1) parent or guardian of a minor participant.
A staff member will be circulating at all times to ensure that social distancing is being respected at all times and maintaining the flow on and off the dock.
We ask all clients to book their sessions in advance by either using our online reservation page, by phone, or text.
Payment for advanced purchases and bookings can be made directly through our web-store https://www.timminswakepark.com/collections/passes
For purchases and payments on-site, we encourage the use of a card that is capable of using tap technology to minimize contact with the debit machine. Please note we are still accepting cash.
COVID 19 has presented all of us with challenges we have never seen before. It’s important to consider that any of the adjustments we are making today, may need further adjustment tomorrow.
It is recommended that you check in with us regularly as we update this policy according to Provincial and Federal guidelines. We may adjust any of the above policies if they are not working well enough or causing other issues within our workplace.
